Marketing Communications Coordinator
Position Overview:
Reporting to the Director of Marketing Communications, the Marketing Communications Coordinator is responsible for providing support for marketing program strategy, sales support, and channel support related to Hayward Pool Products. This position requires tight interaction with sales, customer service, and product development, to ensure that all marketing collateral accurately reflects features and benefits from each user persona and perspective.
Major Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Design and implement product launches for all online/offline channels
- Work with Product Managers to define scope of project then manage the entire project from concept through completion
- Identify lead generation opportunities and create all marketing collateral such as whitepapers, data sheets, FAQ, feature/benefit sheets, case studies, etc
- Provide product positioning materials and training for sales and customer service
- Develop standardized sales scripts, presentations, proposals, etc
- Work with journalists/analysts to ensure PR coverage in print and online
- Work with ad agency or inside creative staff to create all sales and promotional materials
- Understand social media platforms and how they relate to your product launches and promotions
- Design and implement retail product displays including retail merchandising
- Complete competitive analysis and provide insights to Product Managers
- Analyze and capture marketing campaign performance metrics and ROI
- Support channel partners with sales training, collateral, and best practices
- Manage tradeshows, city tours, company-sponsored events & promotions
- Other duties as assigned
Experience/Qualifications:
- Ideally minimum of 2 years experience in a marketing or product management
- Exceptional knowledge of marketing, sales, and development processes
- Strong project management, leadership, training and sales support skills
- Ability to develop strong relationships and work with senior level executives
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Solid business acumen, management and problem-solving skills
- Solid understanding of social media and all of its components
- Understanding of retail sales and channel access
- Strong computer skills, especially Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Effective time management, organizational, and leadership skills
- Ability to travel at least 15% or as required
Education:
- 4-year College degree in business, marketing, or related field
